How to Thrive at Work Through the Menopause Transition

For Gustavus employees - a fall semester monthly series designed to support people in navigating the menopause transition with greater clarity and confidence. We’ll explore how hormonal changes impact sleep, stress resilience, mood, energy, and more, and learn science-backed, practical strategies to stay sharp, reduce distress, and thrive in work and life. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms yourself (most commonly women ages 38-53), want to learn more about the menopause transition, or are looking for ways to better support colleagues, these sessions will help you understand what’s happening during the menopause transition and what strategies can actually help people feel better.

As a certified menopause doula with a doctorate in contemplative leadership, Dr. Siri Erickson helps brainy, high-achieving women take charge of their menopause transition and feel sharp, confident, and in control again. Before launching her menopause doula practice, Siri served for 9 years as Chaplain of the College at Gustavus.
